Our Mission is to provide the highest quality safety services in the coastal and aquatic environment for the public through rescue, education, outreach, medical aid, beach management, enforcement and prevention.
Our Objectives:
- To provide innovative, cutting edge lifeguard training programs
- Warbile Lifesaving Training Academy produces qualified and skilled lifeguards that perform at the highest international standard
- Our primary objective is to produce certified lifeguards with the skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies with the knowledge to care for breathing,, cardiac emergencies and injuries until emergency medical personnel take over
- As part of our social responsibility to the community a school program has been initiated to keeping beaches safe will be actively promoted to all educational institutions throughout the Western Cape.
Facilities and Venues:
- All theoretical classes will be conducted at the City`s Ndabeni lecture rooms as well as the physical fitness assessments.
- All pool and aqua fitness training will be conducted at the Long Street Indoor Swimming pool in Cape Town.
- All beach and open water training and assessments will be conducted at various beaches throughout the peninsula.
- The Warbile Lifesaving Academy has an outreach learning to swim program called `SWIM 4 AFRICA` which educates and teaches children how to swim, safety awareness around all aqua facilities and the ability to assist in first level first aid.
- This will be conducted at various schools and the City`s local public swimming pools.
