The Camissa Sports, Culture and Social Development was initiated with the view to promote sport as a healthy lifestyle in marginalized communities through community and school sport participation at grassroots level. Our Mission is to promote the development and growth of sport and sports administration by ensuring access to quality facilities, focused training, professional coaching and knowledge transfer. Our main objective is to engage communities and schools in comprehensive sports development programs with the view to identify and produce professional athletes of a world class standard.
Camissa Sports Academy is Cape Town based with Skills Development Centers across the metro focusing on youth sports development and skill enhancement.
Camissa SCS Development facilitates capacity building programmes for coaches, officials and umpires & referees. We organize the training presented by qualified personnel.
Our Schools Sports Programmes encourage sport participation at schools by offering after school training at the school. All training is provided by our qualified coaches
Camissa SCS Development provides administrative assistance and support to clubs and organization freeing them up to do what is important to them, playing and developing sport.
